Current Leagues Shown: Newto and Banto

9/5/2006 NOTE: The Newto League is free-domin except for all characters and Pokemon.

Now you shall find out about my league, Banto.  Long ago, Banto was connected to another continent.  But as plate tectonics shifted, Banto broke away from the continent.  People had already been living on there, so they decided not to leave.  After many years, the modern world took over, and soon became a new Pokémon league.  During all these stages, Mono was watching.  The powers of Gelber [Jel'-bur], the most mighty of Banto's Pokémon, blessed Mono with the ability to live many long years.  Mono, too, grew accustummed to the modern way, eventually with enough money to get a house built.  He was known basically as the founder of the league.   He wanting nothing else than that.  Within Banto, many mysteries are on the Island of Legends.  Where legendaries rest in their sacred shrines...

Newto goes way back. Back to the time when few people had settled the Western Hemisphere.
Much of the South American land mass was still forming through cataclismic eruptions and decimating earthquakes. Just off the coast of what is now Chile, was an overactive volcano just barely penetrating the surface of the ocean. About a mile beneath that volcano was a colossal build-up of scalding Carbon Gas. Every few years the volcano would spew millions of gallons of liquid carbon and Hydrogen Gas together out the top, slowly cooling and forming the island that is now the Newto League.

But that's not the end of the story. Because of the hydrogen and carbon being mixed in such great amounts, they formed countless Hydro-carbons, which coincidentaly, are the very building blocks of life. Out of those very Hydro-carbons, was born a new organism. An organism that could interact with the elements of it's surroundings and use them to it's benifit. That organism was Newto's very first Pokémon.

The Land of Newto

1. Mystery town: The starting point in the GBA or higher game of Newto called Pokémon Peridot Version. The Pokémon lab for Newto is here too, so is the Multiplayer Battling Arena.

2. Blueberry Town: The next stop for our PPV players, everything is blue! Even the backround music is a remix of "Declaration in Blue" by Robert W. Smith.

3. Apricorn City: A bustle of commotion, the Celedon/Goldenrod/Lilycove of Newto. Kurt Jr. lives here, he'll make a Pokéball of any color Apricorn. Also here, is the Apricorn Shrine where people visit to celebrate the inventor of the Pokeball. Legend has it that strange electronic energy eminates from underneath it every-so-often...

4. Apricorn Fields: Every single Apricorn that is not special to one League (exept Newto, duh) is here, as a result this is the Veridian Forest/Ilex Forest/Petalburg Woods of Newto.

5. The Ruins of Exo: Before you taunt me about how I stole this from The Ruins of Alph, I'll tell you that you're absolutely right, I also made the Mystyryus (an entirely different spieceis than the Unown but copying the idea of letters, they are the Newtoian symbols).

6. Boom Town: The city that mines more gold every day than all of Alaska! As a result, Newtoian currancy is backwards. The Nińia(about $1)is made of the finest, purest Gold, The Pracco(about $10) is made of sterling silver, the Vollarro(about $100) is made of nickel, and the Maxcos(about $1,000) is made of copper.

7. Rocket City: Not to be confused with Team Rocket, this city is a living reminder of technology. Here you can find the Space Museum, the Psuedo-Gym (like the one in Saffaron City that got it's behind kicked by Sabrina)and the Launchpad. The Launchpad was created for the frequent supply trips to Unto, Newto's only populated moon (the other, Axcion, has poisonous air). PPV players will find Team Elemental here, messing with the controls to turn the rocket into a gigantic H-Bomb.

8. Airport: I don't know why Newto has an airport if they can Tessarect, but they do. This place is mainly for PPV players: They find Team Elemental and Team Comet hi-jacking airplanes and transporting hostages to Orre to die in an undiscovered plane crash. Yes, I know, the plot is a little more intense than trying to fill a volcano with water. To save the hostages and the airplanes, the players have to beat all the Team members, Elemental and Comet, and fly the plane around into the Control Tower.

9. Teleporter Town: The most widely used town in Newto; GBA or not! It has teleporters to almost everywhere! Mystery Town, Apricorn City, Dragon's Cove, you name it! And on the far-west coast, you'll find the docks to the Tri-Elemental Isles and Deeport,(You can get tickets to either ship; The S.S. Rapidra, or the S.S. Rustworthy).

10. Thunder Island: The first of the Tri-elemental Isles. This Island has two caves [Hard to tell from the picture], a large dome-shaped one, and a small underground one. In the larger one, is a very big thunderstorm in which dwells Thundra, the Electric-type Semi-legendary of Newto. The smaller one has a gigantic steel door with 10 locks. In PSV, you need to complete a maze with 10 keys to unlock it. When you do, you set Hon-Hai[Ruunda*] free, the Dark/Flying-type Legendary of Newto**.

*Ruunda, the title for all the legendaries, is Newtoian for Infinity.
**To capture the legendaries, you need to release them from captivity. Then the currant will change and take you to the Abandoned Ship, which is the ship you see on the map, where you can find them all.

11. Aqua Island: The second Tri-elemental Isle. Underneath the Waterfall is another cave where you find a pool of water in which dwells Rapidra, the Water-Type Semi-legendary of Newto. In a pool on the far-east edge of Aqua Island, is an underground cavern where you find Lugaia [Ruunda] and free him.

12. Magma Island: The last Tri-elemental Isle. You can find a big, and a small volcano there. In the big, is a magma cave where you find a pool of lava in which dwells Igknightra, the Fire-Type Semi-Legendary of Newto. In the small, is an ice maze where you find Mew[ruunda](A.K.A. Chosen Mew) and free it. The currant will (if you have freed all of the Legendaries) take you to the Abandoned Ship.

13. Deeport: You get here by taking the boat from Teleporter Town after getting through the Tri-Elemental Isles. This city is completely under sea-level, making it a wonderfully clean-aired place to live. The Weather station, the Water Museum, and the Name-rater's sister are all located here, along with the Department Store.

14. Everbueno City: The city before the Pokémon League. You can find rare pokemon here.

15. Pokémon League and Victory Road: Getting through all of Victory Road is just as hard as the Pokémon league! The obstacles include: using CUT, FLY, SURF, DIVE, and SECRET POWER.
To beat the Pokémon League you must beat the Elite 8 (or Elite 16 for all you anal people (all are double battles)) with one Pokécenter stop at halfway, and another at the end. Next comes Steven Stone the Semi-Champion [Semchamp], followed by a Pokécenter stop and the Champion: Xaivier Iv.

16. Pirates' Cove: This cove is home to a variety of Pirates and Crewmen. Beat them all and SURF on to the next stop.

17. Dragon's Cave: Third to last city/place in PPV. This cave was formed during the creation of Newto. Many of Newto's Dragon-types dwell in the various coridors. A strange primal Pokémon is rumored to glide throughout the inner rooms.
